Did Jake Gyllenhaal Simply Troll Taylor Swift’s Crimson Album?

Jake Gyllenhaal is elevating eyebrows after showing in a W Magazine characteristic that appeared to reference Taylor Swift, whose newest album, Red (Taylor’s Version), is chock-full of lyrics alleged to be in regards to the 41-year-old actor. In a portrait taken by photographer Tim Walker launched on Jan. 12, Jake is seen carrying a crimson button-down shirt with matching heart-shaped sun shades resting on his head.

As Swifties know all too effectively, Taylor rocked similar-looking frames in her “22” music video from her Crimson period, prompting speculations that the accent was a nod to the 32-year-old singer.

“is he feeling 22???” one fan commented on W Journal‘s Instagram post of Jake’s photo. In the meantime, one other one quipped, “Crimson Shirt, The 22 music video sun shades!! Jake and Tim Walker wakened and selected violence.”

As if the scarlet sunnies did not already create a frenzy amongst Swifties, InStyle famous in a on-line story printed on the identical day that image’s authentic caption learn: “Crimson (Jake’s Model).” Evidently, Swifties had ideas about that too.
